After I finished my History of Art studies at the Catholic University of Leuven, I founded the webdesign company Netsign and the webcontent company Webtelligence. Not exactly in the line of my studies, but I was more attracted by the possibilities of this new medium (despite Windows 3.1 and painfully slow modem connections) than by old paintings and sculptures.
The take-over of Netsign and Webtelligence by AdValvas Group meant I became the Chief Technical Officer of AdValvas Media. It quite quickly became clear working in a big corporate structure wasn’t my thing.
Mid 2001 I left AdValvas to found the web usability company AGConsult, together with my former colleague Els Aerts.
